How do I give my accountant access to Mylo?

Short answer
In Settings under Organisation, enter your accountant's email and invite them. They accept the link and land in your approval queue, and you can remove their access anytime.
Inviting an accountant is a self-serve step: in Settings under Organisation you enter their email and send the invite. On their side, the accountant either sets up a firm login or adds your company to a login they already use for other clients, so joining your books does not force them out of their existing setup.
Once connected, an accountant works at the Accountant role level. They can review and approve expenses and work your accounts payable, including AP aging and reconciliation, from the desktop experience that role is built for. By default they see submitted and approved expenses plus invoices and reconciliation data, not your private drafts.
Because accountants often serve several companies, they switch between clients using a client switcher on desktop, so your company is one entry in their list. Access is always revocable: you can remove an accountant from the Connected accountants list whenever your firm changes, and their access ends immediately.
How it works in Mylo
- In Settings under Organisation, enter your accountant's email and invite them.
- The accountant either sets up a firm login or adds your company to their existing login.
- They accept the invite link and land in your approval queue.
- Once connected, they can review and approve expenses and work your accounts payable.
- An accountant who serves several companies switches between them with the client switcher on desktop.
- You can remove access anytime from the Connected accountants list, and it revokes immediately.
Best practices
- Invite your accountant early so month-end review is already set up.
- Remove access from the Connected accountants list if your firm changes.
- Let them use their existing firm login so your company just joins their client list.
