Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Mylo
By the Mylo team · Last updated June 30, 2026
One connector URL turns your AI assistant into a second door to your Mylo data.
- In Mylo, open Settings → AI assistants. Your personal connector URL is shown at the top; tap Claude to copy it and open Claude's connectors page.
- In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the URL.
- For ChatGPT (paid plans) or another MCP‑compatible assistant, open its connector settings, enable developer mode if your plan requires it, and add a custom connector with the same URL.
- Sign in to Mylo when the assistant sends you there. The connection uses standard OAuth; no password is ever shared with the assistant.
- Review the consent screen listing exactly what the connection can do, then click Allow.
- Try it: "Find my receipts from last week" or "Which vendors did I spend the most with this quarter?" The assistant can search your receipts, transactions, expenses, and reports, and with write access it can draft expenses, mileage expenses, and expense reports for you.
- Revoke anytime: back in Settings → AI assistants, tap Disconnect next to the connection. Access ends immediately.
Good to know:
- Everything is scoped to your own account, and read and write are separate permissions. The assistant can never submit, approve, export, or delete; everything it creates lands as a draft you review in the app.
